Watermark Country Club: Venue Review

Over this past weekend I was able to go visit Watermark County Club and talk with Elise VanDyken, an event sales manager for Watermark. This venue is able to seat 400 people comfortably and it offers an outdoor area within the rental. There is a minimum of $3,000 to rent the space but that can be a combination between space and food. For example, if we would like to spend all $3,000 on food and drinks the space would be free of charge. In this case it would also be good to note that they do not allow any outside catering, they offer a full menu (breakfast,wraps/salads, lunch, dinner, kids meals, and desserts) so it might be convenient. Apart from that, they also require an upfront deposit of half the space rental ($1,500).

There are some additional features that come with the space rental and other features that don't. All furniture is included in the rental, chairs, tables, and coat racks. When it comes to lighting they have very basic celling lights, so if we wanted any spotlights or a light show that would have to be an outside source. Sound wise they do have built in speakers throughout the space and a microphone is provided. There is no runway or stage of any kind, that would have to be something else we would need to bring if we wanted one. Lastly, they do have projectors but that is $100 additional to the space rental.
