Cost of Venue:

*For the full (international) ballroom starting at 4:00 PM, this space would be available.

*The room rental for the space is $7,000.00 exclusive of tax 23% service, and 6% tax.

*The food and beverage minimum is $10.000.00 exclusive of the service charge and tax. For 500 people.

Food: Has to be within J.W Marriott (no outside catering)

o   For Models, Teachers, Designers

        (120) Boxed Lunches – $23.00 ++ = $3,560.40

o   For Guests afterwards or before,

·         (125) Dozen Hors d'oeuvres – $48.00 per dozen ++ = $7,740.00

  This is 3 Hors d’oeuvres pieces per person enough for a crowd of 500

·         Total Food Cost - $11,300.40, Adding the totals together it looks like the 23% and 6% is included already in the food cost not the venue part.

Furniture: Included, but depends on which set up we want, possible small set up fee.

Runway: Risers to create runways; length between 24 inch or 16 rows

Projection, Sound system: Michael Cassell,  Audio Visual Sales Manager, estimate for that cost. We decide on screens (flat screen/projections.) If the DJ needs extra power (gray box) it is a $90 flat rate/ 23% and 6%

Coat Check: They have racks that we can use, either guest can hang up their own coats FOR FREE, or we could pay someone to do coat check at JW, OR, even better we can have volunteers from the school that are not a part of the fashion show, handle coat check for free, the volunteers may get tips...

Availability: April 18 and April 23 starting at 4:00 PM.

Theme: They are aware of the theme and said that they can set the mood of Joy as well as change the lights in the hallway, and inside to have “Joy”, they can have “What food brings you joy?”
