Venue Review: Goei Center

Last week I visited the Goei Center and was able to talk to Kate, the event coordinator. Kate was great at answering my questions and she also provided me with a follow up email of our visit with even more information. During my visit with Kate we talked about pricing, catering, and other amenities the Goei Center provides. For weeknights this center is $1,800 not including add-ons. Add-ons can include audio and video systems, which can be rented for $350 per system. Also the valet service which Kate recommended for the large guest list that we are anticipating for the show. The Goei Center also provides catering from 7 different catering companies and also the Goei Center's bar service. Catering options include KJ Catering, Martha's Catering and Three Chef's Catering to name a few. The Goei Center provides seating for up to 350 - 400 guest, depending on floor-plan. They also provide set up and tear downs for the show. Other amenities include a liquor license, monitors and mics. At this venue a build up runway isn't necessary and the ceilings may not be high enough to provide one that is tall. But this center has hard wood flooring which would be great as walkway for the models to strut down. All in all this center had great potential and I can image the show being at this venue. Although depending on the floor plan and seating there could be a possibility of it being a tight squeeze for the amount of guest on the guest list.
